A few places to begin
Under the Milky Way and northern lights.

A little before midnight on a June night in 2024, the Milky Way low over the Bryce amphitheater and the hoodoos just holding their shape below it. Bryce is a Gold-tier International Dark Sky Park. At the viewpoints, use only red light: white light ruins everyone's night vision. The 30-second exposure that lets the hoodoos show also stretches the stars slightly, so we offer this one only in the smaller sizes.

The Milky Way core standing straight up out of the pines at Mirror Lake in the Uintas, October 2024, during the Yellow Lake Fire.

A green aurora arc with pink and purple pillars rising over a dark ridgeline north of Bozeman, a single ranch light below, July 2026.
