The sky that night
Night of August 10–11, 2024 · 8:53 pm by the camera's clock
- Moon
- Waxing crescent, 36% lit · 6.7 days old
- Milky Way
- Peak core season. The galactic core is up for a good part of the night.
Worked out from the capture time, not the place: the moon’s phase is the same everywhere on Earth at a given moment.
