A July night.
Juniper Facing Turret Arch
We made this a few minutes after midnight on a July night in 2024, in the Windows Section of Arches, where the Milky Way core stands over the fins at that time of year. The juniper had died long before we got there. Arches is an International Dark Sky Park, and after dark the Windows belong mostly to the few photographers who stay: the campground is at the far end of the park.
