Prints are made to order by NMFA. Paper ships in about 10 business days, metal and acrylic in about two to three weeks, framed pieces in about four. The lead time for each medium is shown beside it on the photo page. Everything ships with tracking.
Do you ship outside the US?
Canada, yes, quoted at cost before you pay. Elsewhere, ask first; large ready-to-hang pieces are expensive to insure abroad.
What if it arrives damaged?
Send us a photo of the damage and the box. We replace it. No forms.
Can I get a size that isn't listed?
Usually. Some frames are only sold at sizes that hold detail at viewing distance, but custom sizes, panoramic crops, and multi-panel sets are not a problem — ask.
Which medium should I pick?
Paper if you want to frame it yourself. ChromaLuxe metal for night skies and busy rooms. TruLife acrylic for the wall that gets the light. The print guide has the full comparison, and the room preview on every photo page is scaled to true size.
Are the prints signed?
Paper prints can be signed on request at no charge; tell us at checkout. Ready-to-hang pieces carry a signed label on the back. Limited editions are numbered.
What does "limited edition" mean here?
A fixed number of prints of that frame across all sizes, numbered and signed. Open editions are not numbered. Each photo page says which it is.
How much editing do you do?
As much as it takes to make the file look like the place we stood in, and no more. Night skies are often stacked from several exposures made in the same spot on the same night. We don't add skies, stars, or ridgelines we didn't photograph. More on the How we work page.
Do you license images?
Yes, for editorial and commercial use. Contact us with the image and the use.
Can I return a print?
Prints are made to order, so we can't resell a return — but if you're unhappy with one, write to us and we'll make it right.
