Teresa Lake is the second of the two lakes on the Alpine Lakes Loop, after Stella Lake, and on September 12, 2026 it was low and green under its slope of talus. The loop starts at the Bristlecone Trailhead at the end of the Wheeler Peak Scenic Drive, near 9,900 feet, and as of 2026 there's no entrance fee to the park. We walked it the afternoon before our Milky Way night on the same road.
