We made this one at 10:41 on the morning of Sunday, November 1, 2026, on a day trip that turned into a day of rain. The park had closed the Narrows and its other canyons two days earlier ahead of the storm, and by mid-morning runoff was pouring down the ledges along the highway. An eighth of a second was enough to soften the water.
